Ellie Hopgood is the sector lead for the Industrials sector, covering a diverse offering of projects involving ozone-depleting substances and refrigerants, methane abatement and industrial process efficiency, among other project types. She studied chemistry at the University of Cambridge and then worked in responsible and sustainable investment at a large asset manager, at the intersection of climate and finance.
Before joining BeZero, she studied for her master's degree in International Political Economy at King's College London. Her dissertation research assessed the political factors affecting successful carbon pricing, using the EU Emissions Trading System as a case study.
